Rhonda L. Meier completed her M.A. thesis on Jimmie Durham at Concordia University in 1999. Since then, she has worked as an independent curator, writer, and editor, focusing her practice on decolonization and anti-oppression. She curated Nadia Myre’s first two exhibitions in Montreal, at Oboro (2002) and Galerie Art-Mûr (2004). A former educator at the Musee d’art contemporain, she has worked extensively with artist-run centres, and is currently on the board of VIVA! Art Action. Meier at present works at the Warren G. Flowers Gallery at Dawson College.
